two years and three months on since the last update and my how nothing has happened. i've taken down all the shitty prose and poetry and replaced it with BETTER stuff. (disclaimer: this is an opinion. however, it is right.) also, practially all of the remaining stuff which i don't now regard as awful has been updated to reflect these dourdapper times. so things are looking good for my little page. perhaps it'll be another couple of years before i update again. well, most of the hits to the site were from me anyway so it doesn't really matter. we all know this is just a vanity project.at any rate: enjoy new, pretentious prose! appréciez nouveaux la poésie prétentieuse!

we've hit 1000 hits. this is a big deal. to celebrate i'm giving out free five pound notes to every visitor! and pete's got a new piece up: “Taper Mereditano. and everyone's favourite neurotic squirrel, roger, has a new episode. and not of the psychotic variety, either.

big update - 6th september 2005 |
i've got my hands on a brand new forum for the site. be sure to sign up to it. you can discuss anything you feel like including all aspects of the site such as roger the squirrel. there's even space for you to post your own work so that you can give and receive feedback from other members. so get involved today! it's totally free to sign up!
well that's the big update news. pete sent me some new stuff for his page so go and check all that out. roger took a short hiatus with some slave labour but he's now back on the streets and kicking his typical amounts of ass (ie. a lot). i've also made further changes to the story Pinkeye Love Lucy so that's even better than before. but that's not all - i've got another piece of prose up called Bless Diss Mess so there's certainly no shortage of fun to be had round here.
i did a stint of advertising at concentricus.com yesterday and the site reached a whopping 5% of it's maximum bandwidth allowance. that's a record. a terrible record, but a record nonetheless.

i'd like to take this opportunity to officially welcome the literary stylings of
Peter Easterbrook to the site and christen the launching of his new section with a
metaphorical bottle of champagne. here's to a fruitful future! read his stuff and drop him a line to tell him how good it is.
big news aside, the ending to Pinkeye Love Lucy has been changed because the first
one was shite. look out for a new roger on
tuesday as well! phew. it's full speed ahead
at this place. i might even actually start paying to get rid of all those bloody adverts though. they're driving me up the wall, so i
apologise whole-heartedly for them. they will be gone one day, i promise.

i've decided to resume the roger the squirrel project. there's a new entry been added today for your own masochistic pleasure so go and check it out now because it's official: i have resumed rogering. there'll be a new entry every week. two if i'm feeling particularly bored. also the main menu now has a snippet of the latest news, and something which displays some random points of interest. try refreshing to see all the different ones! there are only five so pace the excitement. i have nothing better to do than update my site.

well, i've finally got roger up on the web so that's an entirely new section for you to enjoy. check it out here and prepare to laugh your lungs out because it's that damn funny. on top of that two brand-spankingly new pieces of prose have been put up today: Pinkeye Love Lucy and Das Blues. you can click on them and go straight to them. i also added a hello message to the main menu because things were looking far too formal. i'm not going to link that because you just came from there. nobody reads this anyway. a sidebar menu would be so useful to the site but i'm inept.

it's big news but there's not much to be said, really: simpler site that's more user-friendly, has a few more images than the last version and looks sleeker. the other one was over-crowded with text and that's been tackled too. i finally realised you don't need an explanation to be able to understand where the various links will take you. enjoy.
